CCRadio Solar Wind-Up Portable Emergency Crank Digital Radio AM, FM, NOAA Weather & Alert is an excellent everyday use portable digital radio. Having almost twice the normal size antennas reception should not be any concern. This radio has AM, FM, NOAA Weather with weather alerts. There is a high-quality speaker with a small air suspended high excursion speaker for voice clarity. There are 5 different ways to power up this great little radio. There is an oversized solar panel, an inlaid hand crank with a generator output greater at 400mA with better magnets power, and last but not least a 3400mAh lithium-ion battery. This battery is easy to replace and will run 35-50 hours depending on your settings. The bonus of this battery is it can be recharged with each turn of the hand crank or with the solar panel. The USB port is another option for recharge; however, you will need to supply the AC wall adapter for it is not included. You can have up to five (5) memory presets per band. There is a micro-USB input port, a line-in jack, headphone jack, clock, alarm with a sleep timer (120, 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes). It has 1, 9, and 10kHz tuning and is light weight at only 1.1lbs. When the radio is fully charged it can charge a low cell phone battery to 50%. There is also a LED flashlight with CRI color giving it superior lighting. This flashlight can be powered by three (3) alkaline batteries (not included).
